Happy Timers Program

The Happy Timers is a Wicomico County Recreation and Parks program for the baby boomer generation. The Happy Timers Club is the oldest senior citizen program in the state of Maryland. The Happy Timers were formed by a group of community and civic minded citizens who were interested in the mental, physical, and recreational well-being of the older community. If you are new to the area, recently lost a loved one, or just need to get out of the house, come and check the Happy Timers out. We offer a walking group, line dancing, exercise, bridge, pinochle, bingo, crafts, parties and games. We provide lunch on Wednesdays for a nominal fee.

The Happy Timers also plans trips with local and long distance travel.  Some past Happy Timer trips have included the Ocean City Jamboree, a progressive dinner in Little Italy in Baltimore, a visit to Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and the Broadway play “Wicked” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.  Click here for a list of upcoming bus trips.

• Program Fee: Dues are $60.00 per year for Wicomico County Residents; $65.00 for out of county Residents
