Recreation ProgramsGet out and play with Wicomico County Recreation & Parks! Our programs and special events cater to all of Wicomico County’s citizens – from the youngest to the oldest. We invite you to explore our offerings and try out the programs and activities that most appeal to you. For adults and seniors we offer several opportunities to stay fit and make new friends. For youth – our variety of sport’s programs make us the perfect fit for your tough competitor or beginning learner. Whether competitive or instructional in nature, our youth programs stress the importance of a positive attitude and strong sportsman-like conduct. Off the field, youngsters can enjoy the outdoors through our many special events held annually and on a regular basis, stay safe in our after-school child care and summer camp programs. |

Girls Softball
Swing batter batter swing! The Junior Girls Softball League offers four different leagues for girl’s ages 8 to 18 years old. This is a recreational league where focus is on teaching and learning softball skills, player participation, being a part of a team and sportsmanship. Girls of all skill levels and experience are invited to join in the tradition. Games are played twice a week (two week nights) with an occasionally Saturday game. Youth Volleyball for Girls and Boys
Two programs are offered, allowing instructional time and play for children from 1st grade through high school to learn the game of volleyball. Co-Ed Scholastic Volleyball begins in early December with 3 sessions available and Co-Ed Junior offers 3 divisions for players beginning in January. Read More
Chess Tournament
Castling! Crowning! It's the Wicomico County Recreation & Parks Chess Tournament. Mark you calendars for Saturday, February 4th at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center's DaNang Rooms.
