Water Access and Boat Launch SitesThe Department of Recreation, Parks & Tourism operates two marinas on the Nanticoke River, with boat slips and boat ramps for fishing and sailing vessels along with scenic picnic and pavilion areas. Boat slips are available for rent by the day, week, month or year. Electric and water access is available. For more information on renting a boat slip at either the Cedar Hill Marina and Park in Bivalve, Maryland or the Nanticoke Marina in Nanticoke, Maryland, call the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office at 410.548.4911. Current Programs and News
Girls Softball
Swing batter batter swing! The Junior Girls Softball League offers four different leagues for girl’s ages 8 to 18 years old. This is a recreational league where focus is on teaching and learning softball skills, player participation, being a part of a team and sportsmanship. Girls of all skill levels and experience are invited to join in the tradition. Games are played twice a week (two week nights) with an occasionally Saturday game. Youth Volleyball for Girls and Boys
Two programs are offered, allowing instructional time and play for children from 1st grade through high school to learn the game of volleyball. Co-Ed Scholastic Volleyball begins in early December with 3 sessions available and Co-Ed Junior offers 3 divisions for players beginning in January. Read More

Castling! Crowning! It's the Wicomico County Recreation & Parks Chess Tournament. Mark you calendars for Saturday, February 4th at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center's DaNang Rooms.
