Our Mission at Recreation & Parks

The Wicomico County Department of Recreation, Parks & Tourism represents the Wicomico County government's commitment to an outstanding quality of life for Wicomico County citizens. Our goal is to provide high quality events and programs, to preserve unique natural resources, to acquire, develop and maintain park land and recreation facilities, and to market our Wicomico County, Maryland for the purpose of attracting visitors and tourist.

Run To Remember Memorial Day 5K

Join the Wicomico War Memorial Committee on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, to honor our fallen heroes at the Run To Remember Memorial Day 5K. Proceeds benefit the Wicomico War Veterans Memorial at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, which honors the citizens of Wicomico County who lost their lives while serving the United States during war. Kids Klub Summer Escape

Kids Klub Summer Escape is a county-wide summer camp conveniently located in five different locations throughout the county. At an affordable, all-inclusive price Kids Klub is the perfect summer camp for youth. Located on the west side of Wicomico County, Cedar Hill and Nanticoke Marinas are bordered by the picturesque Nanticoke River. Whether looking for an outdoor picnic locations, an afternoon of fishing or a place to launch your boat – Cedar Hill and Nanticoke Marinas offer a wide variety of amenities.
